TTK studies the evolution of shared mobility practices

The Region of Normandy, and more particularly the Seine Maritime department, are frequently the subject of articles highlighting the success of their carpooling policies. The Rouen metropole is regularly mentioned as an example through the figures for the use of home-to-work carpooling on its territory: in February 2022, about 11.766 journeys were recorded in the Rouen metropole, the leading metropole in France.
After a study on the development of a carpooling master plan for the city of Le Havre, the Department of Seine-Maritime has requested TTK to study the feasibility of setting up mobility hubs around the department's carpooling areas. By providing support in the development of carpooling master plans for the organizing authorities, TTK is studying ways to develop shared mobility practices and improve accessibility to the territories.

The growing interest of local authorities in carpooling studies shows the importance of carpooling in the new mobility landscape, in order to offer inhabitants economical and ecological alternatives to the use of the private car.
